vision...

The vision of the MSAD #57 PAL team is a school environment where a lifelong appreciation for the intrinsic value of all the arts is nurtured.
purpose/mission...

Our mission is to foster and promote an environment which is rich and diverse in the arts where all children in MSAD #57 will have a variety of experiences, specifically dance and theater, which are not addressed in the current arts curriculum.

Barbara Gail and Jeff Hanna from the Rhythm Inlet in Mount Vernon, ME ~ P.A.L. Artists-In-Residence for the 2003/04 school year. They performed in MSAD #57 for all the 3rd graders in each elementary school September 26 - October 3.

The Wright Brothers were the Artists-In-Residence for all third graders in MSAD #57 for the 2002/03 school year. They performed at each of the elementary schools in the district the third week in September and were in residence at each school the following week. They were a big hit! Check out the photos.

"The Wright Bros. is a modern American Comedy Troupe with a style reminiscent of classic comedians like the Marx Bros., Chaplin, Marceau and the Three Stooges. Good old belly laughing, family fun and entertainment is at the core of a Wright Bros. show. Beneath the surface, the educator and audience will recognize years of training in a long list of performing art techniques, skills and discipline including Dance, Classical Mime, Music, Circus Arts, Gymnastics and Theater."

**Ann Ross of Making Tracks Dance was our artist-in-residence for 2001/2002!

**The PAL Team was proud to sponsor Mohamed Kalifa Camara. artist-in-residence for the 2000/2001 school year.
