for 2005-2007!
vision...The
vision of the MSAD #57 PAL team is a school environment where a
lifelong appreciation for the intrinsic value of all the arts is
nurtured.
purpose/mission...Our
mission is to foster and promote a diverse environment in the arts in
which all children in MSAD #57 will have a variety of experiences,
specifically dance and theater, which are not addressed in the arts
curriculum.

goals...
1st Year
- Students will learn how to use improvisation to communicate
ideas.
Activity: All 3rd graders in the school district will participate in
a movement/dance residency.
2nd
Year - School Committee will understand and continue to fund the
activities sponsored by the PAL committee.
Activity: PAL Committee will provide guidance to the school committee
in their need to comply with the ME Learning Results in the area of
the arts.
3rd Year - 3rd grade teachers will learn how to integrate
movement into their curricula.
Activity: 3rd grade teachers will participate in professional
development activities in movement.

elementary school will be selected by September 2003.
